As interior plasterers we use both modern day materials and techniques as well as old style materials and techniques to give us the functionality to offer a broad spectrum of textures.  Our plasterers have the skills to primarily carry out skimming, taping, artexing, coving & combing, lime renders and one coat finishes.  This list is not conclusive and depending on your needs, other skills can be utilised.

At K.P Plastering, when carrying out interior work, we understand the need, to liaise with other tradesmen working on the project, and agree to a timeframe which suits everyone involved.

As always, our aim, is to make the process as seamless as possible for the customer and to provide peace of mind that the job will be carried out to the highest of standards.

In the past, exterior plastering consisted mainly of coats of sand and cement finished in a style chosen by the customer.  In modern times, additional techniques have become popular when finishing the exterior of a building.

The plasterers at K.P Plastering are competent in carrying out the methods of the past and the more modern methods.  Their skills include, but are not limited to the following, nap; sand & cement, wet & dry dashing, monocouche, exterior insulation with acrylic finish.

At K.P Plastering, we know that first impressions last, and understand that the exterior of a building sets the precedent for the interior.  Our top class plasterers ensure that all exteriors have that “wow” factor and will impress all who visit your property, residential or commercial.

Dry lining is broadly defined according to its use of plasterboard on timber or metal frames. It is also possible to stick or plug plasterboard directly onto conventional brick or block.

Dry lining is essentially dry. Strictly speaking dry lining is the use of plasterboard to substitute for sand and cement or wet plaster.

We use many type of machine render systems for sand and cement finishes from Kilsaran gp to Acrylic or Monocouche

Monocouche cement render is both a decorative and architectural finish. This means that as long as the application is done correctly, the finished render will never require painting….applied to the exterior or interior of building facade, it provides both decoration and weather protection.
